Shopping queen, chocolate junkie, animal lover.....

Raised in Oklahoma, I was transplanted to the KC area in 2004.  One of the things I missed the most was participating in Tulsa's JBF sale.  After some research, I learned this area had nothing of the sort, so in my typical fashion, I said "why not" and JBF-Lee's Summit was born.  I love to outfit my daughter for the coming season at such great prices, and have made so many new friends by hosting the sale. Each event is like a reunion of people who I love but only see twice a year-during the Spring & Fall sales!

After a divorce in 2007, I chose to move back to my hometown of Owasso, Oklahoma so my daughter could grow up surrounded by family and friends.  Fortunately, I am able to come to KC quite often, and most of the sale planning is done via the internet and phone, so I'm able to continue to grow the sale, even at a distance.  I love KC and miss it immensely, and am grateful for the opportunity to visit often.

My daughter, Grace, is now 9.  She gets tons of clothes and shoes from the sale, and she still finds TONS of toys, DS games and more that she HAS to have!  At these prices, I have no reason to say no!   In 2009 I added a stepson to the mix, Chris, who's also 9, and am now expecting a boy, and am due in April.  So I now am so excited to take advantage of all the AWESOME deals on baby equipment, toys, etc that my other kids had outgrown!

I hope you choose to participate, either by shopping, consigning or volunteering at the upcoming event.  I know you will be glad that you did!
